STONE SCULPTURE AND CERAMICS Bas-relief sculpture carved in limestone is the work for which Karen is best known. Karen also creates one of a kind ceramic bird sculpture. She combines simplified, figurative, sensual forms with a variety of textural surfaces to create contemporary design and form. Karen strives to have her artwork make an emotional connection with the viewer and is often narrative in nature.
VISIT
Karen's studio is located at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic Over-the-Rhine area of Cincinnati. She was the first artist to move into the PAC when it opened in 1991. Call for an appointment. The Pendleton Art Center is open to the public every FINAL FRIDAY of the month from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
